The Hunt For White Shadow

The Hunt For White Shadow is a fifth edition adventure designed for four to six characters and optimized for four characters with an average party level (APL) of 5 or 8. This adventure can be run as a stand-alone or paired with The Endless Winter of Mount Scaefyrn for a complete story arc.

This adventure takes place in the Basilisk Spine mountain range of the Dragonwing campaign setting, but can easily be placed into another campaign that features mountains.

Background

Zhaaryxa Vael, a cunning white dragon, recently attempted to expand her territories and influence by using an ancient weather machine to spread the cold and eternal winter to the village of Fyrnhelm. The kobolds she sent to activate the machine have failed, but it’s clear she won’t rest until she succeeds one way or another.
